Astoria Inn Bed and Breakfast
The Astoria Inn Bed and Breakfast is situated on a hillside and offers beautiful views of the Columbia River and nearby forest. Built in 1890, this bed and breakfast is the former home of Norwegian Olie Haren.
Located in an Astoria residential neighborhood, this bed and breakfast offers a cozy environment in which there are four well-appointed rooms available. Each room contains a queen-sized bed with a private bath and mixed antique furniture.
Guests will enjoy cookies and candy upon their arrival, gathering with other guests in the living room for a visit with other guests, watching one of the many movies available, or reading a good book.
Guests will also enjoy the Cathedral Tree Trail, located up Irving Street, for a short walk to a giant spruce. Continuing up the trail, guests will come upon the Astoria Column. A famous Astoria monument, it was erected in 1926 and depicts the discovery of the Columbia River by Captain Robert Gray, the establishment of the Northwest Territory through American claims, the westward progression of pioneers, and the Great Northern Railway's arrival. Panoramic views of the ocean, rivers, and mountains can be seen from this vantage point.
Other activities include exploring historic Astoria's shops, fine restaurants, and cultural events.
Children and pets are not permitted, but smoking is allowed on the veranda.
