Betty Kay Charters
Captains Bill and Kathi have worked together on the Betty Kay for more than a decade. Their combined experience at sea surpasses all other charter businesses on the southern Oregon coast -- Bill has more than 25 years of chartering on the west coast, Kathi has 10.
This outfit's most popular and successful fishing trips are for bottom fish. Be prepared to see the beautiful Oregon coastline fishing near shore in 60 to 200 feet of water, where your fishing trip will take you over kelp pads, reefs, and pinnacles that provide ideal habitat for a wide variety of rock fish to hook into. Commonly caught fish include: cabazon, tiger rock, blue rock fish, black rock fish, yellow eye, vermilions, China rock fish, quill back, canary rock fish, and ling cod.
Chartered trips include: five-hour rock fishing; five-hour salmon fishing; 12-hour tuna fishing; 12-hour halibut fishing; bay cruises, whale watching, and eco-tours.
