Bridges Highway 101 Yachats to Florence
Tenmile Creek Bridge

Located at milepost 171.44 six miles south of Yachats, the Tenmile Creek Bridge was engineered by Conde McCullough, famous Oregon Coast bridge engineer. Typical of McCullough, this bridge was constructed of reinforced concrete through tied arch.

Identical in design to the Big Creek and Wilson River bridges, also completed in 1931, the Tenmile Creek Bridge uses the bowstring arch style. The total length of the bridge is 180 feet with the main arch spanning 120 feet.
