Ophir, along with Nesika Beach, offer more than seven miles of uncrowded, wide-open sandy beaches with sea stacks and tide pools to explore. Beachcombers, surfers, and windsurfers cherish the beaches, while anglers fish the nearby streams or the Rogue River.
On this one stretch of coast, it is stormy in the winter, making it a great place for watching the wild weather, and warm in the summer, with plenty of days of temperatures in the 70-degree range.
