Sutton Creek Campground

Located about 5 miles north of Florence, Sutton Campground is situated on the banks of Sutton Creek in the Sutton Recreation Area. This facility offers 77 sites that may be used for RV, tent, or car camping. Amenities include potable drinking water, flush toilets, garbage containers, fire rings, picnic tables, 3 group overnight campsites and trailhead parking.

Situated among Douglas fir, spruce, wax myrtle, rhododendron and huckleberry, the campground is popular for its miles of hiking trails that access the creek, lake and dunes. A boardwalk provides a short walk for viewing the Darlingtonia--Oregon's carnivorous plant. Launch your boat in Sutton Lake, just 2 miles from the campground entrance, and enjoy playing on the sand dunes from nearby Florence.

This Siuslaw National Forest campground is open year-round and there is a fee to stay in the campground. Reservations are accepted for 23 of the campsites and the 3 group areas between May and September. 20 campsites have 30 amp electrical hookups.
