Bird Watching Lincoln City
Spring Lake Open Space

Several paths wind through this young, 25-acre forest with a diminutive lake and creek. Wood duck nest boxes ring the lake and are occupied annually. Regular callers are the black-headed grosbeak, northern flicker, Bewick's and winter wren, purple finch, fox sparrow, Swainson's thrush, western tanager, Wilson's, orange-crowned, and yellow-rumped warbler.

Off of Highway 101 in Lincoln City, turn east on NE 14th Street, then after the blinking light turn north on NE Port Avenue, to the parking lot.
