Originally built in the 1920s, Ocean Front Cabins features seven units that serve as a reminder of that era. These cabins, as well as a coffee house located in the old innkeeper's home, are situated on a hill in Oceanside.
When the current owners purchased the property in 1989, they made additional upgrades to these studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units. They include such amenities as a refrigerator, stove, and full-sized oven, and a microwave in the two-bedroom unit. The studio unit is too small for a kitchen, but is equipped with a coffee maker, microwave, and small refrigerator.
Ocean Front Cabins offers summer and winter rates. As of January 2007, the cottages will become a smoke-free accommodations.
Oceanside is a quaint village that has maintained its small size with a restaurant, tavern, and a coffee house. The beach is less crowded than most on the northern Oregon coast and offers gorgeous views and landscapes. Strolling the quiet beach, watching winter storms from your cozy cabin, and enjoying a leisurely meal are just some of the activities available in this village.
