Bird Watching Warrenton/Hammond
Warrenton Linear Park

This is a 2.5-mile, gravel trail system that skirts an estuary, mudflat, and a mixed forest, affording glimpses of a nesting bald eagle, plus Rufous hummingbird and northern flicker. In winter, watch for bufflehead and American wigeon, and in migration, black-bellied plover, marbled godwit, western and least sandpiper, and whimbrel.

From Highway 101, turn west on Harbor Street, which becomes Fort Stevens Highway North, then right on 13th Street to parking along the street at the end. The trail goes south along the dike.
