Art Galleries
The Oregon Coast inspires artists who work in many media. Often, an artist will choose one special gallery to display his or her work. You can find many art galleries lining Highway 101, mostly in the cities, but sometimes in between. Besides paintings, you'll find sculpture, drawings, and sometimes creative art using available materials.
Each art gallery has its own distinctive character, often combining the individuals who own them and the artists who display their works there. Buying art on the Oregon Coast also can be a bargain, since the prices are frequently more economical than in large cities.
