Dune Haven Lakefront Retreats
These retreats offer easy access to the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area for ATVs and four-by-fours. Hiking and horseback riding also are permitted. Situated on Saunders Lake, the three dwellings offer many amenities. They feature one three-bedroom A-frame, a two-bedroom overlook cabin, and a studio cabin with one bathroom. Each is fully furnished and equipped. Furnishings include antiques, rattan furniture, a fireplace, large deck, linens, and all major appliances. Units have summer, winter, and holiday rental rates and the off-road riding area is nine miles long by a mile wide, including dunes that are 300 feet high. The North Bend area offers numerous other outdoor activities, including, hiking, charter ocean and river fishing, clamming, crabbing, birding, mountain biking, canoeing, and kayaking. Nearby attractions include Shore Acres Botanical Gardens, ocean beaches, Sunset Bay State Park, the Mill Casino, and Charleston Boat Basin.
