This site provides weather conditions on the page devoted to each city and town on the coast. In addition, you can check through the following six major forecast areas for the current weather.

The Oregon Department of Transportation has placed information on road conditions, including construction and weather related problems, on their own Web site, www.TripCheck.com. Check there for up to the minute conditions. The following advisories were in effect for Highway 101 as of January 8, 2007:

Lanes Affected: (Northbound) Median , All Lanes , Shoulder (Southbound) Median , All Lanes , Shoulder Comments: Contractor is building a temporary detour bridge next to the existing bridge. One lane traffic is now being controlled by a temporary signal. Traffic delays are expected to be 5 minutes or less.

Comments: Weeknights from midnight to 4 AM Bullards Bridge is closed, with traffic detoured through Coquille on Hwy 42 and Hwy 42S. During daylight hours there will be lane closures with flaggers providing traffic control.
