Asian Restaurants

At one time, this would have been simply called Chinese restaurants, but the variety of Asian restaurants has exploded in recent years. Thai cuisine has become popular. Japanese restaurants have acquainted the American dining public with sushi. And Chinese restaurants are no longer limiting themselves to quasi-authentic dishes designed for the mass market. In fact, the increase in Asian restaurants reflects the growing interdependence between the economies of East Asia and the United States, which will probably bring more Asian travelers to the Oregon Coast as well as more Asian restaurants.
