Glass Art Bandon
Bandon Glass Art Studio and Gallery

The Bandon Glass Art Studio artisans work with hot glass behind viewing windows that allow the visiting public to see firsthand the process which turns inert elements into fantastic works of glass art. Master artist Dutch Schultze produces large blown-glass vessels that are highly prized.

Bandagios, Seaforms and Fluted Bowls are created from a basic blown glass form known as a Rondelle. Many layers of clear glass and selections of colored glass are formed into a bowl, and then spun on the end of a pipe into a flattened disc shape. This flattened disc shape allows for different design potential than the typical vessel form.

The gallery also offers work by prominent glass artists from around the United States. The gallery is located across Highway 101 from Old Town Bandon.
