Lakeside

Between Winchester Bay and Coos Bay is Lakeside. Turn inland at milepost 222 for the main part of the town.

Lakeside is the gateway to beautiful Tenmile Lakes, some of the largest lakes on the coast. The easy-going town is off the highway and is an ideal location for recreation, relaxation, and retirement. Services available in town include a lodge, motels, RV parks, marinas, moorages, restaurants, deli, and market, and on Hwy 101 are a gas station and mini-market.

Each Fourth of July, spectacular fireworks burst over south Tenmile Lake, and in August the annual Drag Boat Races roar through the lakes.

Within a 30-mile radius you find 21 lakes, several major river systems, and many county, state, and federal parks and campgrounds. Lakeside is only nine miles south of Reedsport, and 12 miles north of North Bend.
