Bob Straub State Park
Bob Straub was governor of Oregon in the 1970's. While in office, he successfully led the fight in opposition to using the Nestucca Spit for Highway 101. The land that ODOT had acquired for that purpose instead became a state park and was name for the governor who had protected it.
Nestucca Spit separates the Pacific Ocean from the Nestucca River. At the park, you'll find parking, restrooms, and picnic tables. There is no fee for the use of this park.
