Seaside Municipal Airport

This facility, FAA Identifier 56S, lies at six feet elevation, one mile northeast of Seaside. There is no control tower, and it is unattended, but a lighted wind indicator is present. Lights are on from dusk to dawn. Parking tiedowns are available.

Runway 16/34 is 2,360 by 50 feet and paved with asphalt in fair condition. There is a dip in the runway 300 feet from the south end on the centerlane. Runway lights are low intensity.

Airport operations average 50 a week, of which 62 percent is transient general aviation, 15 percent air taxi, 15 percent military, and eight percent local general aviation.
