Myrtle Point

Myrtle Point, gateway to the valley of the Oregon myrtle trees and home of the Coos County Fair, is an agricultural center loaded with historical sites. The Coos County Logging Museum is located at 705 Maple Street (541-572-1014) in a unique building that is a scaled-down replica of the famed Salt Lake City Tabernacle. Open daily during the summer months, tours are also available anytime by appointment.
