Rocky Creek State Scenic Viewpoint

Perched on a thickly treed bluff, this diminutive oceanside park overlooks sandy and rock-strewn shores. It is a memorable vantage point to observe such seabirds as the pigeon guillemot, common murre, common and Pacific loon, western and horned grebe, surf and white-winged scoter, and black oystercatcher.

In Newport on Highway 101, drive north 10 miles and turn west into the parking lot.
