Road's End State Recreation Site
This wayside boasts a pebble beach, tidepools, offshore islands, and a secluded cove. Sanderling, whimbrel, western and least sandpiper, and semi-palmated plover can be spotted feeding during migration. Take the short path at low tide to the beach to view western, Heermann's, Bonaparte's, mew, California, and herring gull.
From Highway 101 in Lincoln City, turn north onto Logan Road, then proceed one mile to the parking lot.
