Bay City to Tillamook

This segment of the Pacific Coast Scenic Byway weaves through river frontage and flooded pastureland, and skirts estuaries. Keep eyes peeled for blue-winged teal, northern pintail, American wigeon, Canada geese, white-tailed kite, and red-shouldered hawk in winter. Killdeer and whimbrel are spotted during migration.

From Bay City to Tillamook, take Highway 101 south and tarry at pullouts along the road.
