A brief pause along this Tillamook Bay spit is promising for shore birds, including spotted sandpiper, and black and ruddy turnstone. Caspian tern, purple martin, and osprey are frequent in spring. Western gull and bald eagle are spotted all year round.
From Highway 101 in Bay City, turn west onto Oyster Drive, then park.
