Barview Jetty Park - Bird Watching
The rocky jetty and open ocean draw ocean and bay birds. From fall to early spring, scan the jetty rocks for wandering tattler, black turnstone, ruddy turnstone, and rock sandpiper. Year round, the bay sports western gull, pelagic, double-breasted and Brandt's cormorant, common murre, and pigeon guillemot, and in winter, common loon and western grebe.
From Highway 101 S in Barview, two miles north of Garibaldi, turn west on Cedar Avenue, which becomes Barview Jetty Park Road. Turn left onto the jetty road to the parking lot.
