Nehalem Fish Hatchery
This hatchery is bordered by second-growth Douglas fir and red alder forest. The area is inhabited by breeding hooded merganser, American dipper, hairy woodpecker, and hermit warbler. Excellent access is provided for persons with disabilities.
From Highway 26, take Highway 53 to milepost 7, or from Highway 101, take Highway 53 for 11 miles to the hatchery.
