Feldenheimer Forest Trail

This four-mile path meanders through Sitka spruce and western hemlock forest. Forest residents are varied thrush and spotted towhee. Birders will also glimpse nesting Wilson's and hermit warbler. The trail extends to Indian Beach in Ecola State Park, where birders should scan the ocean for marbled murrelet.

From Highway 101 in Seaside, turn west on U Avenue, then proceed left on Edgewood Drive, past Seaside Cove and Seltzer Park to the parking lot at the end of Sunset Boulevard.
